The profession of a groomer is physically and mentally demanding, requiring knowledge of many rules and the ability to anticipate a dog's behavior. It's a hobby, not a job.

A retraining certificate for the profession of dog groomer, valid throughout the EU under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.

Applicants have the option to have the course covered by the Employment Office; we will provide more information upon serious interest.

What should you know?

The course takes place at Tlapka Dog Barber, usually on weekdays. Optionally, by arrangement, also on weekends. The teaching is adapted to the salon's operations, starting between 8:00 - 9:00 and finishing between 17:00 - 19:00, according to our clients' appointments. The course schedule cannot be strictly set; everything is guided by current needs and personal agreement.

During the course, we recommend finding suitable accommodation nearby.

The duration of the course is 8-12 weeks, by arrangement.

Payment:

If you need to split the payment into 2-3 installments, we will be happy to accommodate you. Just send us an email, and we will arrange individual financing. Payment can be made by bank transfer or in cash. The order must be paid within 5 days of confirmation, otherwise your spot will be offered to other interested parties. In case of illness or other serious reasons, the course date can be changed, but no later than 14 days before its start.

When the course is paid for by the Employment Office, a deposit of CZK 30,000 must be paid in advance. The Employment Office will reimburse it after the course is completed. The deposit is non-refundable.
