Course description:
This course is designed for those interested in professional cat care, including grooming, bathing, combing and safe handling of cats during procedures. The course is ideal for groomers, veterinarians, salon assistants or cat owners who want to learn how to properly care for their pet. The course provides in-depth knowledge and practical skills needed to effectively and gently care for cats of various breeds and coat types.

Course objectives:
- Learn how to properly comb and cut a cat's fur according to its coat type and breed.
- Master cat bathing techniques and learn to manage stressful situations during this procedure.
- Gain practical skills on how to safely handle cats during grooming procedures.
- Become familiar with tools and products that are suitable for professional cat grooming.

1. Introduction to cat care and basic grooming principles

   - Introduction to the differences between caring for cats and dogs, the specific needs of cats.

   - Structure and types of coat in different cat breeds (short-haired, long-haired, hairless).

   - Basic principles of feline anatomy and behavior important for grooming.

2. Combing and felt removal techniques

   - Grooming: How to groom long-haired and short-haired cats to prevent tangles.

   - Removing mats: How to safely remove mats without damaging your cat's skin.

   - Choosing the right tools: Introducing professional brushes, combs and felt removers.

3. Bathing Cats – Techniques and Products

   - How to Bathe a Cat: Effective and gentle bathing methods to minimize cat stress.

   - Choosing the right shampoos and conditioners: What products are suitable for different coat types and sensitive skin.

   - Post-bath care: How to properly dry your cat after a bath and ensure its coat remains healthy and shiny.

4. Cat grooming and grooming

   - Haircut: When and how to cut the fur of long-haired cats or cats with specific needs (e.g. due to health problems).

5. Safe handling of the cat during grooming
