Show Tech finger condoms are ideal for hand trimming show dogs, where every hair counts and the fur must be removed manually from root to tip without damage or cutting.

They are also suitable for fur that has been previously clipped or trimmed with a sharp knife. They allow you to pull out whole hairs from the roots, which helps the fur regenerate. By pulling out soft hairs, space is created in the skin follicle for new hairs, which makes the fur coarser and wiry again.

Finger condoms are also great for plucking hair from the inside of a dog's ears.

Instructions for use

1. Choose the right size.
2. Place the finger condoms on your thumb and index finger and form a pair of pliers using their tips.
3. With your other hand, lift a few hairs using your fingers or a brush so that the ends of the hairs stand out clearly.
4. Grasp the skin gently with your hand just above the place where you lifted the hair.
5. Firmly grasp the tips of the hairs between your thumb and forefinger and pull in the direction of hair growth. Trim only a few hairs at a time.

Tip : When working with damaged fur or for better grip, we recommend combining Show Tech Finger Condoms with English Trimming Chalk Powder, Super White Chalk Block or Show Tech + Texture-IT Powder.

Note : Trimming should not hurt your dog. If the hair is mature and ready to be removed, you are actually just pulling out dead hair, which should be easy.
