Avoca – a stick to stop bleeding

AVOCA Caustic Pencil with 95% silver nitrate content will be useful for quickly stopping minor bleeding, for example when cutting the claws too short and hitting the nail bed, injuring the beak or removing dewclaws in puppies.

Use

• Designed to stop minor bleeding based on the principle of corrosive effect on tissue.

Dosage and application

1. Wet the tip of the stick with clean water.
2. Carefully apply to the affected area.
3. Do not use NaCl solution after wetting.
4. Rough handling may cause the application tip to break.
5. The effectiveness of silver nitrate depends on the duration of exposure - more water or a shorter application time reduces its effect.
6. If the effect needs to be stopped, rinse the area with a weak 1% solution of table salt .
